Highlights

• Currently Assistant Professor, Department of Technical and Professional Communication, University of Twente, Netherlands
• Worked as a user researcher for 10 years for software companies in Silicon Valley (most notably, the company formerly known as Sun Microsystems) and for now defunct dot.coms (most notably, Productopia).
• Ph.D. in Sociology from University of California at Berkeley
• Undergraduate degrees in Social Studies and Women's Studies from Harvard College.
